Woman wakes up to discover her whole garden had been stolen

This has to be the most hilarious ordeal to befall anyone. A thief stormed a woman's house and stole her entire garden.

Mother of two, Sue Scorer, had decked out the front garden of her home in Livingston, West Lothian, with artificial grass only to wake up one morning to realised the whole garden had been stolen. Sue, 30, said she and her sons were devastated by the theft.

She said: ‘I woke up on Sunday morning and was washing my hands when I looked out my window and saw that the trampoline was on the other side of the garden.
I opened the window to see what was going on and saw all the grass was gone and the fence was down. ‘I thought I was dreaming. I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it.’
Sue who wasn't the only one robbed on that night, said she bought the turf for £3,000 about four years ago. Her sons, aged eight and four, have regularly used the turf as a football pitch.
She added:

‘It had to be planned. There was no way someone was just strolling past and decided to take it.’
Sue's neighbour also had his astroturf stolen on the same night. Luckily, the robbery was caught on CCTV. Half of it was later recovered after it was dumped in a bush by the thieves.
