Couple sue their 30-year-old son because he refused to move out of their home

A couple has successfully sued their son after he refused to vacate their house.

According to ABC 7, Mark and Christina Rotondo sued their 30-year-old son Michael, because he refused to move out of their home in Syracuse-area of New York.
Mark, after several attempts to throw the young lad who had been living with them since losing his job 8-years-ago became futile, wrote him an official note asking him to vacate their home immediately.

After a discussion with your Mother, we have decided that you must leave this house immediately. You have 14 days to vacate. You will not be allowed to return. We will take whatever actions are necessary to enforce this decision.
Despite the several notices, the unhappy parents claim that Michael refused leave. He rather argued that legally he wasn’t given enough notice and demanded for an additional six months before he could move out. The parents, left with no other choice sent him an eviction notice.

Michael Joseph Rotondo, You are hereby evicted from 4** Weatheridge Drive, Camillus, New York effective immediately,” the letter said. “You have heretofore been our guest and there is no lease or agreement that gives you any right to stay here without our consent… A legal enforcement procedure will be instituted immediately if you do not leave by 15 March 2018.

They went on to offer Michael $1,100 to help him get on his feet. But he refused to take the money, so they decided to take things to court.

On Tuesday, State Supreme Court Judge Donald Greenwood, after listening to their argument ruled that Michael has to leave.
