Court grants Atiku Abubakar's son custody of his two children

The child custody battle between Atiku Abubakar's son Aminu Atiku and his ex wife Fatima Bolori is yet to be over but they seem to have made some progress.

A Lagos State Magistrate's Court sitting in Lagos on Wednesday granted Aminu Atiku temporary custody of their two children Amirah, 8, and Amir, 6, in order to enable them complete the ongoing academic session at their school in Lagos.

According to Punch, Aminu told the magistrate that he had paid the school fees of both children for the entire year. So he persuaded the court to allow the children live in his home in Lagos until the next hearing.

The court later ruled that both children should live with him in his Lagos home from November 1 to January 10, 2018 when they couple will appear in court again.

The Chief magistrate however ordered that Aminu write a letter to the children's school introducing Bolori as their mom and granting her unfettered access to the kids at all times.

The court Aminu to to release the children to their mom during public holidays, including Christmas, and weekends whenever she is in town. They also directed that he deposit the two children's passport with their mom immediately, before adjourning the case to January 10, 2018.

Me think the judgement is fair! At least for now.
