Kind-hearted policewoman breastfeeds suspects baby as she stands trial




A policewoman in China has won the hearts of many, after photos of her breastfeeding a suspects' baby went viral. Lina Hao breastfed a four-months-old baby as the baby's mother stood trial in northern China's Shanxi.

According to Chinese media report, Hao got permission from the baby's mom before her little act of kindness.




The baby had cried helplessly in the courtroom as the mom, a suspect in a fraud case stood trial.

In the photos captured by officer Luna's colleague, Hao is seen breastfeeding in a quiet corner of the building. Officer Lina who is also a nursing mom explained:

 The baby wouldn’t stop crying and we were all worried.
“I am a new mother, I could feel how anxious the child’s mother would have been. All I thought about was to try my best and comfort the tiny baby.”
She said that any other police officer would have done the same, adding: “If I had been the mother, I would have hoped someone would help my baby too.
