Handicapped traveller busted with cocaine worth $480k in her wheelchair



A female traveller was busted by Customs agents and a drug sniffing dog at JFK after she tried to smuggle cocaine valued at nearly $500k in the cushion of her wheelchair.

The physically challenged woman, identified as Yoncela Stanley, reportedly arrived JFK from St. Lucia with her special package tucked under her motorised chair.

After the dog sniffed and found the substance, Customs and Border Protection Officers were alerted. According to TMZ, 6 bricks and 2 clear bags of cocaine tipping the scales at 27 lbs and worth at least $468, 000 was found on her.

She was immediately booked for importation of a controlled substance and will have a 'field day' in court soon.
