Angelina Jolie Cries As She Speaks On Divorcing Brad Pitt For The First Time

Angelina Jolie choked as she opened up about divorcing Brad Pitt for the first time.

In an interview with BBC World News about her new film about on the genocide in Cambodia, the actress and UN special envoy revealed it is a ‘very difficult time’ not just for her but their whole family.

There was an audible intake of breath and ten-second pause when the interviewer asked her about the incident, to which Angelina replied: ‘I don’t want to say much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family and we always will be a family and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.’

The 41-year-old actress, split from her partner, Brad Pitt last September after 12 years together.

The couple have been locked in a bitter custody over their six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, ten, and eight year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne – but Jolie revealed they are putting their children first.

‘Many many people find themselves in this situation. We’ve all been through a difficult time – my focus is my children, our children, and my focus is finding this way through,’ she said.
‘We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping, I’m coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.’

She then added her first thought on waking is how to ‘get through the day’ admitting that ‘it has been a difficult few months’.‘I usually wake up trying to figure out who is going to get the dog out, who is going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth,’ she said.
