Passenger falls to his death from aircraft door while being removed from flight by cabin crew



An airline passenger fell to his death in South-West Turkey on Tuesday. The man died after falling from a plane on a runway at Dalaman airport in Turkey.

Reports have it that, airline staff were trying to remove the 30-year-old man identified as Andrew Paul Westlake from the aircraft when he fell 15ft from an exit.

He was immediately taken to a private hospital but he died shortly after arrival. Doctors at the hospital found out that he had broken ribs as a result of the fall.

Hurriyet newspaper reports that Westlake argued with cabin crew after boarding a flight at 3pm and was ordered off the aircraft as a risk to flight safety. Police are now investigating the incident.
