Nigerians come for President Buhari and Naomi Campbell after Campbell revealed he invited her to Lagos

Naomi Campbell's visit to Lagos, Nigeria, has generated a lot of controversy after the model took to social media to reveal who her host was.
The British super model who was at the opening of Eko Atlantic in Lagos was pictured taking photographs with President Buhari and his crew who were equally in Lagos for the launch.

Naomi took to Twitter to reveal she was invited to Nigeria by President Buhari for the private launch of Eko Atlantic .
Was a pleasure to be invited by His Excellency The President of Nigeria to Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari to the private launch of Eko Atlantic, Naomi tweeted.

The tweet didn't go down well with several Nigerians. People on social media began to slam the presidency for the invite. President Buhari's crew immediately released a statement denying their boss invited Ms. Campbell who already had a bad record with an African president.

President Buhari's Personal Assistant of Social Media Bashir Ahmad debunked Naomi's tweet with a tweet of his own.
For the sake of clarity, President @MBuhari didn't invite Ms. Naomi Campbell to any event during his 2-day-visit to Lagos State. They only met at Eko Atlantic City while Mr President was touring the project, and she requested to take photos with him.

Naomi seeing the controversy her photos and tweet generated, deleted the tweet and posted another one claiming she was in Nigeria for a Arise Fashion Week and bumped into President Buhari while touring Eko Atlantic city.
