Dead man wakes up just before he was cut open for autopsy

A young man presumed to be dead, escaped death by the whisker after he grabbed a sweeper to show he was still alive during autopsy.

Himanshu Bharadwaj from India, was wrongfully pronounced dead after a car crash. He was taken to a morgue and just as the pathologist picked up a blade to perform autopsy, Hinanshu grabbed a sweeper to the surprise of the pathologist.
The pathologist noticed a pulse and the patient was resuscitated. He was immediately taken to a separate room where doctors checked him out.

According to News18, Himanshu was seriously hurt in the car accident after which he was declared brain dead, then medically dead.

His family claim the incident was a miracle.
Dr Gedam, of Chhindwara District Hospital, said:

The patient's 'respiration was dysfunctional' and his 'pulse was also missing'.
'However, his respiratory organs began responding this morning.
'At times, in brain dead patients, the heart and the respiratory system stop functioning transiently, which seems to be the case here.
'Himanshu is still brain dead. Thus, we have referred him to Nagpur due to lack of sufficient facilities locally.'
