Confusion as woman's corpse taken for burial refuse to enter church



There was confusion in Kaoma District in Mangango constituency, Zambia after a female corpse taken for burial refused to be buried. 
According to Korma District Commissioner, drama started when the body of a 47-year-old woman, identified as Lilian Kanunga arrived at the New Apostolic Church in Chilombo area of Kaoma District, Zambia for service.
The corpse reportedly refused to enter the church building, and instead led its bearers to a nearby house. When they got there, the corpse which was already placed in a coffin plunged through the window, breaking glass panes inside the house.

A crowd quickly gathered to watch the shocking incident, as the situation escalated. It took the intervention of policemen who fired tear gas to control the crowd.
 Kaoma District Commissioner, Kennedy Liale Mubanga, said soldiers led by the Battalion Commander from the 5ZR army barracks went in to retrieve the corpse and forcefully buried it. 
The deceased is named Lilian Kanunga, female aged 47, unmarried of Kalyangu village in the same area.
