Mastermind behind the Fulani herdsmen killings in Benue state has been arrested

Reports have it that the mastermind behind the Fulani herdsmen killings in Benue State has been arrested by the police. 

Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, DIG Joshak Habillah who made this known on behalf of the IGP, revealed that the mastermind was arrested after deploying the most advanced technology and trailing him for at least than three weeks.
The suspect, a 40-year-old man identified as Alhaji Laggi, was arrested at the Tunga Forrest in Nasarawa State.

Four other principal suspects were also nabbed in the same Tunga town between February 16 to 19. They were arrested with  AK47 rifles and other prohibited arms in their possession.
While Laggi, was revealed as the mastermind, the others were identified as Mallam Mumini Abdullahi, 34, Muhammed Adamu, 30 and Ibrahim Sule, 32. 
The suspects confessed to the killings and mentioned names of some of their accomplices who are still on the run. Police say the suspects are still in possession of police rifles they took from murdered officers.
