Disabled People in Cross River, who got buses from Senator Gershom Bassey make so much profit they decided to help others

This is so impressive. On Saturday, members of the Disabillity community in Cross River State proved themselves worthy of sustainable empowerment.

Sometime last year, the senator representing Southern Senatorial District of Cross River State Senator Gershom Bassey, had empowered some people and associations by donating buses to them. One of such Association was Cross Riverian With Disabilities ( CROWD) .

The Association surprisingly put the buses to work and generated so much money from it. From the money made by effectively using the buses they got as gift from the senator, they empowered 10 of their members with various items on Saturday. They gave out deep freezers , make up sets for makeup artists, various food items, blending machines, fridges, poultry feeds, etc.

CROWD revealed they intend to run this program every 3 months for its members so that more members can benefit from it. At the event, they took turns to pray for the Senator, who wasn't at the event but was duly represented by the Youth Leader Rt. Hon. Maurice Edem.
