Sick man ends up in Ikoyi Prison after SARS picked him up for stepping out to buy water, his daughters locked up for 4 days

A Twitter user has blown the lid on a SARS operation that saw an ailing father of two landing in jail just for stepping out of his house to buy water.

According to Twitter user, Adewumi Fabaredo, Rease Ogundipe Sedenu, left his house around 8pm on Wednesday to buy bottled water for his medication. Since he hoped to be back in at least 4 mins, he locked his two daughters, aged 8 and 6 inside the house. On stepping out, he was picked up by Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, operatives.

His daughters who were locked in were left indoors for four days without food, until the older one forced the door open and they emerged looking starved.
His folks launched a search for him when they realised he was missing and found him in Ikoyi prison where he had been remanded for three weeks or the orders of a magistrate court in Gbagada area of Lagos State.
