Elephants trample and kill tourists who attempted to take photos of them



Two tourists have lost their lives after elephants trampled on them at Livingstone's Maramba River Lodge, Livingstone, Zambia,  on Saturday.

The Tourists from Holland and Belgian have been named as 61-year-old Griezmann and 57-year-old Sabin.

According to reports, Griezmann and Sabin met their fate on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at about 5pm, when a herd of elephants strayed close to their lodge.

Ms Sabin got close to take pictures but unfortunately agitated the pachyderms resulting in them charging and trampling on her. Mr Griezmann who was watching suffered the same fate after he attempted to rescue her.
